In 1986 Raul Restrepo, a motivated business man, migrated from his native country, Colombia to the United States with dreams and hopes of starting a new life, while providing a new taste and spark to the coffee industry.

He decided to settle in Miami, Florida due to the diversity in the market. As a coffee lover, he wanted to put all of the experience acquired through the years working for the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia. With all his experience and knowledge, he decided to create his own business Rokka Coffee was born from this dream.

At the beginning, Rokka Coffee started selling coffee greens, but as a passionate coffee lover Raul decided to begin an intensive study of a wide variety of coffees researching constantly the characteristics of the beans. The result of all the research was the development of a great coffee blend with a special and fresh taste.

Rokka Coffee, Inc., started with the brand name “Café Bahia”, the beginnings were rough as with any new company. In the beginning, we only started with Espresso Blends. Then, years later, we began to develope our blend for American Coffee and after an intensive study we come up with our Premium Blend and flavors, we are still looking to come out with different blends.
